1.1 Which areas of Michelle’s local work are most important to you and your family?
Helping local residents, in my opinion, is one of the most important jobs for an MP. Please do get in touch if I can be of any support.
I worked with the successful campaign to Save the Hop Pole in Limpley Stoke. I also recently held a 'Pub of the Year' competition, promoting our amazing local landlords.
We all need dentists locally. I have been fighting to get the funding that we need.
I helped secure £449,858 for Wiltshire's High Streets
Wiltshire Police now have more officers than ever before!
The last Labour Government shut our hospital. I have launched a campaign to upgrade the hospital, building a business case to demonstrate the viability and need locally.
I have pushed Bradford on Avon Town Council to accept Wiltshire Council's offer for traffic modeling. In March, the offer was accepted and we are now progressing this issue.
I will ensure our area gets its fair share of the Government's £5 billion broadband upgrade programme.
I have supported the recent campaign for 20mph outside Melksham Oak, and have pushed the Police and Crime Commissioner for more action in our villages.

I have most recently helped to secure over £2.4 million of additional investment for our local primary and secondary schools
I helped secure £2.6 million for Wiltshire from the Government's Rural Prosperity Fund
As an animal lover, I strongly supported our new, world-leading animal welfare legislation, making use of our post-Brexit freedoms
Supporting local jobs and prosperity
Holding Bath and North East Somerset to account for shamelessly pushing HGVs through our communities. I have also been working with the Police and Crime Commissioner to promote Lorry Watch to stop weight limit violations.
Empowering residents through Neighbourhood Plans and passing the Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill. New housing must come with the schools and doctors surgeries that local people need
We are on track to decarbonise 95% of electricity generation by 2030, and we will reach 100% by 2035. Our landmark Environment Act means that we will halt the decline of nature by 2030, and have created some of the largest nature reserves in the world
