Prime Minister backs Digital Corsham

I’m pleased the Prime Minister has backed Wiltshire with funding for the first phase of Digital Corsham – providing the development of an incubation space for digital and innovation start-ups, with teaching space and collaboration space for the digital sector. I wrote to the Government about this last year as I believe that it will help bring more local jobs to our area – a key part of my plan for our community. Also, some very kind words from David Cameron, who said:

“Giving local communities the power and the money to unlock growth and development and make the spending decisions that work for them is a key part of our long-term economic plan to secure a brighter future for Britain and ensure a recovery for all.”

“Local Conservatives such as Michelle Donelan who is a tireless campaigner for Chippenham constituency will welcome projects such as the Corsham Digital Mansion, which will make an important difference to the area.”

“That’s what Growth Deals are all about, backing local people and investing in the infrastructure, housing and skills that will drive forward local economies, create more jobs and opportunities for hardworking people and supercharge all parts of our country.”
