PMQs: Ensuring that taxpayers money is spent responsibly

Today I asked the Prime Minister a question at PMQs – highlighting that some taxpayer funded jobs in the UK are paid ridiculously disproportionate wages in relation to the roles done.

This includes Town Council Clerks who can earn up to a £90,000, Chief Executives of Councils who earn up to £250,000 and we still have too many NHS managers on up to £200,000!

I asked the PM if she agrees with me that we need to ensure taxpayer money is always spent responsibly and that this money would be better spent on nurses, police officers, firefighters and frontline services.
