It was a pleasure to meet with representatives from Retirement Villages at Avon Park in Winsley. The site has the most spectacular views and is a really special place for the residents of which there are over 100, to enjoy their retirement. Retirement Villages have recently taken back the former care home on the site and have exciting plans to redevelop the buildings to further enhance the offering for residents of Avon Park. There is a really strong emphasis on linking in with Winsley village and it was great to hear about plans afoot including linking with the primary school for reading groups. I look forward to staying in touch and seeing the developments.
