As you know I have been pushing the council for changes given the chaos caused by the changes to the Station Hill lights and removal of the roundabout. I have also been in close contact with Faresaver Buses who have been impacted by delays.
The council have been altering the sequencing and new detectors are also going in ASAP. On Monday an Urban traffic control (UTC) system will be fitted. So we will have the online public meeting once that is in and we know the impact. I am organising this meeting with the council as your opportunity to share with them your view so I will 100% make sure it happens. It’s also important though that the council have the opportunity to try to implement solutions but these will have to deliver given we never had an issue with traffic there before!
