Last week, I wrote directly to the Leader of Wiltshire Council about funding for our high streets and town centres. I think we must do everything possible to back local business and support our cafes, pubs, shops and salons as they look to build out of this pandemic and bounce back better than ever.
With Government funding, we can improve outdoor spaces whilst also promoting our fantastic high streets in Melksham, Chippenham, Corsham and Bradford on Avon.
After I pushed for extra support, Wiltshire received one of the highest funding allocations in the country and I want to see it put to proper use in supporting the heart of our towns and communities.
