Good news for e-scooter users (and those who would like to be) across Wiltshire 
As part of the ‘green restart’ of transport services across the country, the Government is paving the way for the safe, legal introduction of e-scooters for use as a mode of transport. This is a real opportunity for us to adapt the ways we in market towns get into town and to work. It will also lead to cleaner air and healthier communities across Great Britain.
The Department for Transport is currently consulting on making e-scooters safe and legal to use, but is simultaneously running rental trials across the country to determine the best way forward. The end goal is to ensure that we maximise the number of people able to get around towns in a greener, cleaner and cheaper way than cars.
