Don’t forget to nominate your Community Farming Hero: I’m looking for a local farmer or rural worker to nominate for this year’s award, and I want you to have your say!
The NFU have launched a new award to celebrate the hard work of the farming and agricultural community - this is all about celebrating how important our farmers are, especially as it’s been such a tough time for the industry recently.
You could nominate a local farmer or rural worker with longstanding service to the industry, or a farming hero who always goes the extra mile for the community.
To nominate your community farming hero, please email: [email protected] by Friday 26 August with a maximum of 250 words explaining why your hero should win the award, and contact details for your hero.
The winner will be invited to a special event in Parliament in September, and will also be put forward for a regional award to recognise their hard work.
