Many of my constituents will have had cause to visit the RUH in Bath at some point in their life. I have always pushed for money here in our local hospitals and am delighted to share the news of a major injection of funding for the hospital announced yesterday by Health Secretary, Matt Hancock. £5,674,000 has been allocated to the RUH, hospital staff, patients and visitors will benefit from refurbished wards, brand-new electrics and upgraded ventilation systems by next spring as part of the Governments £600 million investment to build back better.
