Recently I visited the Grand Opening of Whitley Stores. The store is community run by an excellent team of volunteers and provides a brilliant resource for local people to pick up essentials.
I was delighted to be able to help support the hub in their application for some funding from the area board and really enjoyed seeing the store up and running on Saturday. The wider shop hosting the hub is Spindles Bikes
Tom Skinner builds the bespoke “barstabelle” bike from within the shop and is an exceptional local talent. Continuing on the theme of local talent you can grab a coffee and cake from the coffee shop served by Caitlin Tinnion who is a bespoke tailor. Many congratulations to you all on creating a vibrant, exciting place for the residents of Whitley and Shaw and further afield to spend time.
