I am delighted that following my championing of Wiltshire as a hub of STEM and digital innovation, the Government has invested £3.7 million from the Getting Building Fund into the new Business Cyber Centre (BCC) at Greenways Business Park, Bellinger Close, Chippenham. This is due to open in Spring 2022 and I look forward to visiting the site when fully operational.
This will be the UK's first business-led Cyber Centre. The BCC has a central mission to make all UK businesses more cyber secure and aims to turn cyber complexity into cyber confidence.
The UK is a global leader in tech and this new cyber centre will create 250 new jobs and create 1,700 training opportunities in the UK cyber sector.
