I recently attended the Juniors’ awards at Melksham Rugby Club. It was such a privilege to share in the celebrations of the achievements of so many of Melksham’s young people.
None of this would be possible without the hard work and determination of so many volunteers who give up their time in service of the club.
It was therefore also a privilege to see Mark Simmons, Dave and Caroline Williams, Mathew Glover, Gary Cooke, and Ian Newman, be awarded lifetime membership for each giving 30+ years’ service to the club.
Their hard work and determination have certainly paid off, and Melksham Rugby Club remains a wonderful community asset that inspires the next generation of sportsmen and women into the game.
