It was great to attend the annual Mayor's reception the other Friday evening at Melksham Town Hall held by our Mayor Cllr Simon Crundell. We were able to raise over £1,400 for Help For Heroes on the night - who do such excellent work in helping to look after our veterans!
A big thank you to the Mayor, all the staff Melksham Town Council and volunteers involved in making the event such a success this year
We are so fortunate to have such a vibrant, active and caring community here in Melksham, led by our Mayor, and it was great to see so many local people receiving well-deserved awards for their hard work over the past year in our town.
A big shout out to our fantastic Mayor and Mayoress - who have dedicated so much of their time over the past couple of years to making Melksham a great place to live.
Our Mayor, Cllr Simon Crundell, has done such an epic job in ensuring the Town Council is able to increase spending on vital initiatives such as tree planting, investing in our play areas and enhancing King George V Playing Field – all while keeping the precept below inflation . Thank you Simon for all you have done and continue to do to make Melksham the great place to live that it is today.
