Many local people are struggling to get a dentist appointment at the moment - the backlog from missed treatment during the pandemic has added further pressure.
I’ve been fighting for additional funding from the Department for Health to help improve the situation locally, and of the additional £50 million of investment for NHS dentistry provided by Government, a total of £4,726,000 was made available to our region to increase capacity and the quality of patient care.
I will of course continue to raise the issue and will soon be collecting your experiences with a health survey so that I can present the accurate picture in Wiltshire to Health Secretary.
