It was great to meet representatives from the Canal & River Trust in Bradford on Avon last week. It was a beautiful day to appreciate the canal for the wonderful leisure asset it is for local residents and those from further afield.
We talked about the extensive work of the trust to maintain the waterway for us to enjoy and the work they do to liaise with and look after the boating community living on the canal. I really enjoyed my charity walk along the length of Kennet and Avon canal last year, we really are lucky to have the waterway running through the constituency.
