I am so proud to have Dorothy House Hospice in my constituency which covers a vast area that spans over six MPs constituencies. Having spent a day shadowing and volunteering with them before I was an MP I know just how hard the staff and volunteers work and fully appreciate their invaluable role in our community. That is why I think their community lottery is such a good idea.
Dorothy House is just one of a number of hospices throughout Great Britain who are supported by Local Hospice Lottery and all profits are donated to hospice care.
One number costs £1 per week to support their caring work. You can be in with a great chance of winning £2,000 every week, along with 150 other cash prizes, plus a roll-over which can reach as high as £25,000! Players are also entered into Super Draws which have an additional guaranteed top prize of an incredible £10,000 every March and September!
I signed up in Bradford on Avon recently. I wanted to share and promote this initiative for those who are able to participate because it truly is such a good cause and close to the heart of Wiltshire residents.
