Today I visited Procol in Melksham – this is an impressive local company. Not only are they growing but they are also giving back to our community. To combat the recession Procol diversified and now also purchase buildings and convert them into office blocks, charging only a peppercorn rent. This allows local start ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses to grow and develop.
I suggested a number of possible sites around the Chippenham constituency for Procol to develop into office spaces. We need to support local business businesses and this initiative is a fantastic way to help them to grow and create more jobs for local people.
