Extra funds to help fight Potholes

On 28th November, the Transport Secretary Chris Grayling announced an additional allocation of £1,300,000 to enable Wiltshire Council to fix up to 24,500 potholes in 2017/2018. This funding is over and above the £14,757,000 the Department of Transport had already committed to providing in 2017 to 2018 to help repair our local highways in Wiltshire.

This investment will lead to quicker and safer journeys and help to build a stronger economy by linking people with jobs, businesses with customers, ensuring a country that works for everyone, not just the privileged few.
